Coach will
have the opportunity to sign a Commit to Compete Form (found on
cheerpower.varsity.com) and pay a $250.00 non-refundable
deposit per team to lock your early bird price for the competition(s)
of your choice.
The form and
deposit must be SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 17, 2009!
No
forms will be accepted after this date.
FAMILY DISCOUNT (TEAMS AND INDIVIDUAL EVENTS)
–
Must have 3+
immediate family members on teams (excludes parents on a parent team)
and/or 3+ immediate family members participating in
individual events to receive the $25.00 discount.
Discount is only
applied to the 3rd or more family members.
Please indicate
discount(s) on registration forms and clearly mark each family
with 3 or more members on team roster(s).
SPONSORED ATHLETE
–
Cheer Power will
sponsor the registration fee for ONE ATHLETE per team from
every program across the nation! Coaches please submit
the names of athletes you feel need financial help to
cheer@cheerpower.varsity.com.
Sponsored
athletes are not eligible for 3+ family member discounts.
EXCEPTION: Cheer Power will not sponsor athletes
participating in Individual events or a parent on a parent team.
DANCE-
If the same team
competes more than one routine, only one sponsored athlete per team, not
routine, is allowed.
NATIONAL EARNED CREDIT
(NEC)-
Any team that attends competitions using one of the combinations listed
below in
addition to submitting their payments at least 2 weeks prior to each
competition, will receive a $10.00 rebate, per participant, for each
team that competes at Nationals: (Example: 15 participate during the
season- 18 compete at Nationals, team will receive rebate for 15
athletes).

REBATE CHECKS WILL BE ISSUED AT NATIONALS. NEC IS A CHEER

VARSITY FAMILY PLAN-
To
qualify for the 2009-2010 Varsity Family Plan, follow the 4-2-2
guidelines…In order to participate in the Varsity Family Plan and receive a rebate,
gyms must register and enter a qualifying event schedule at
www.varsityfamilyplan.com .
Gyms must compete in
at least four (4) events, produced by a minimum of two (2) Varsity
Brands, and must bring two (2) or more teams to compete at the event.
Registration Forms:
All-Star Cheer and Dance Athletes no longer need to
turn in compliance forms.
School and Rec. Team Athletes DO need to turn in compliance forms

Floor Type:
This competition is on a spring floor
Warm up Floor:
Teams will receive 6 minutes on a 12' X 60' spring run. and
6 minutes on a 42' X 54' cheer floor. A sound system will be
provided.
Individuals will have open warmups begining 30 minutes prior to the
first event. Note: Individuals need to bring their own sound
equipment if needed.
Legality Verification
It is the coach's responsibility to be current on all level and safety
guidelines. If you have questions concerning any legality, please
video tape the stunt or element in question and send it either via email
to cheer@cheerpower.com or

MUSIC:
Bring
2 quality recorded CDs or an MP3 player.
Provide a
representative to run music at the music station.
Music systems are
different; therefore, coaches are strongly advised to create routines
that finish at least 5 seconds before the maximum time limit in order
to avoid time limit penalties.
If
a mistake is made because of Cheer Power’s/Power Dance’s personnel or
sound system failure, the team will be allowed to perform again from the
point in the routine where the mistake was made.
