Come have some fun with us at Six Flags! Your team can compete
in regular cheer attire (t-shirts and shorts) stay cool and enjoy the
park all day. Whatever you do, don't leave your show or exhibition
teams at home. Parents and friends bring your banners, signs, and
spirit!
Note this is an outdoor
competition! If it rains we will go to Sunday. If the competition is
rained out Sunday, Cheer Power will only be
able to refund the competition fees.

ATTENTION COACHES: Payment made the last 2 weeks
before competition must be paid by Credit Card, Cash, or Money Order.

Coaches - Competition fee is free but a park pass is
needed. 1 free park pass for every 20 athletes.
Please report to Registration when you arrive.
Please report and check in with warm
ups 30 minutes before your scheduled time. Remember everyone wants the
competition to run on time and in correct order. PLEASE HELP US
MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
Spectator - Pre order your park pass from
Cheer Power for $35.00 and enter the Music Mills Amphitheater for
free. For season ticket holders
entry is free. Spectators who do not purchase park passes
through Cheer Power will pay a
$5.00 ticket price to enter Music Mills Amphitheater.
ATTENTION PARENTS: Our program schedule must be printed in
advance! many times the program will not have LATE CHANGES OR
TEAM NAMES THAT REGISTERED LATE! We also have Individuals that
will add an event at the competition. This event will not be on
the schedule. No one may bring food or drinks into venue.
Parents may Video tape at any event EXCEPT Nationals, Mini
Nationals, and Tournament of Champions.

Discounts:
Cheer
Power will sponsor the registration fee for ONE ATHLETE per
team from every program across the nation! Coaches please
submit the names of athletes you feel need financial help to
cheer@cheerpower.varsity.com.
Sponsored athletes are not eligible for 3+ family member
discounts.
At amusement park competitions, Cheer Power will only sponsor the
competition fee, the sponsored athlete MUST purchase a park pass.
EXCEPTION: Cheer Power will not sponsor athletes participating
in Individual events or a parent on a parent team.

team, not routine, is allowed.

Floor Type:
It is NOT a spring floor. There will be 6 mats turned
sideways 42' wide and 36' deep. The velcro strips will be facing
front to back to give the appearance of a 7 strip mat. (the center
will remain a space not a line)
Warm up Floor:
Please report and check in with warm ups 30 minutes
before your scheduled time. Remember everyone wants the competition to
run on time and in correct order. PLEASE HELP US MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
Teams will receive a 3 1/2 minutes on a two strip mat and
3 1/2 minutes on a floor exactly like the performance floor
Legality Verification
It is the coach's responsibility to be current on all level and safety
guidelines. If you have questions concerning any legality, please
video tape the stunt or element in question and send it either via email
to cheer@cheerpower.com or

Spotter Policy:
SPOTTER
POLICY
– Cheer Power will provide up to three spotters on the performance floor
at all competitions, for any division with stunts. (Teams will not be
allowed to waive the right to have spotters or have their own staff or
coaches spot routines on the performance floor.) Teams will be
required to provide their own qualified spotters, for any warm-up area.
MUSIC:
Bring
2 quality recorded CDs or an MP3 player.
Provide a
representative to run music at the music station.
Music systems are
different; therefore, coaches are strongly advised to create routines
that finish at least 5 seconds before the maximum time limit in order
to avoid time limit penalties.
If
a mistake is made because of Cheer Power’s/Power Dance’s personnel or
sound system failure, the team will be allowed to perform again from the
point in the routine where the mistake was made.

Directions:
FROM WEST TEXAS
Travel east on Interstate 20 toward Dallas-Fort
Worth until you reach the exit for DFW Airport
(State Highway 360 North). Travel north on 360 for
approximately six miles and take the Interstate 30
(Six Flags) exit on your right. Follow signs to the
park.
FROM EAST TEXAS / SHREVEPORT
Travel west on Interstate 20 toward Dallas-Fort
Worth until you reach the exit for DFW Airport
(State Highway 360 North). Travel north on 360 for
approximately six miles and take Interstate 30 (Six
Flags) exit on your right. Follow signs to the park.
FROM HUNTSVILLE/HOUSTON
Travel north on Interstate 45 until you reach
Interstate 20. Travel west on Interstate 20 toward
Dallas-Fort Worth until you reach the exit for DFW
Airport (State Highway 360 North). Travel north on
360 for approximately six miles and take the
Interstate 30 (Six Flags) exit on your right. Follow
signs to the park.
FROM WACO/AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO
Travel north on Interstate 35. When you get to the
city of Hillsboro, I-35 will split. Take I-35W North
until you reach Interstate 20. Travel east on
Interstate 20 toward Dallas-Fort Worth until you
reach the exit for DFW Airport (State Highway 360
North). Travel north on 360 for approximately six
miles and take the Interstate 30 (Six Flags) exit on
your right. Follow signs to the park.
FROM OKLAHOMA CITY
Travel south on Interstate 35. When you get to the
city of Denton, I-35 will split. Take I-35W South.
Travel south on I-35W until you get to Interstate
30. Take I-30 east toward Dallas until you get to
exit 28 (Six Flags). Follow signs to the park.
FROM TEXARKANA ARKANSAS
Travel south on Interstate 30 toward Dallas-Fort
Worth until you get to exit 30 (Six Flags). Follow
signs to the park.

Participating Arlington hotels operate a
trolley-type transportation system during the entire
Six Flags Over Texas season. When making hotel
reservations in Arlington, ask if your hotel is
participating in the trolley service.
